What is "Leadership" ?
We took a lesson about what leadership was. We thought about what trait was important to become a leader. We did brainstorming with 6 local coordinators. It was interesting and we also learned about how to create new ideas. If we lost concentration during the class, we got a "Wake up" card.
Make our presence known in the world
In the afternoon, we had Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus tour. Three Japanese coordinators who are from Massachusetts Institute of Technology guided us around the campus. One of the coordinators, Noriko Endou took us to a famous spots. If we touch the nose of statue, we will be good at math. Hiroki touched it softly. Each coordinator's story about the campus life were very attractive. She said to Japanese students,"I hope it is essential for Japan to make its presence known everywhere in the world." She taught us how to pass the entrance exams of university in the U.S. We learned what is the big difference between entarance exams in Japan and S.A.T. in the U.S. ” Kohei said, "She is amazing. Her story is exciting. After I heard what she had said, I wanted to study abroad in the future."
Explore beyond limits
We had another presentation about science technology, tangible media. Ken Nakagagi showed us new human computer interaction. His story had a lot of expressions, like “Explore beyond limits.” “Find your own preference.” “Devote yourself to what you want to study.” “The sky is the limit.” “If you know English, you will have more chances to output what you input.”
We had a great time. We learned how we should do for the rest of our life.
