The first day at Woodstock Academy

Every student came to school.

I supposed they were a little bit worried about American school life.

Today, each student had a buddy, an assitant student of Woodstock Academy. 

Before we met buddies, we practiced "smile". 

W.A. students friendly escorted them to regular classes.

They spent a day with their own buddy.

Q How was your weekend?

Maki said, “At breakfast, my host father made fried egg, spam, hashed potatoes for me. They are delicious,”

Kanna said, “We went to Boston. Boston is very fashionable city. My host family bought food for dinner. Host father is chef, because dinner was very delicious.”

Risako said, “Saying THANK YOU and answering YOU’RE WELCOME” is important to communicate with people. “

Rui said, “It is difficult for me to communicate with my host family. I never give up.”

Ririka said, “Challenge with a smile for everything.”

Some students really enjoy their homestay, others hesitate to speak to American students. 

Yesterday is the past. Tomorrow is the future. Today is the present.  

Seize the day!

Tomorrow we will have a blizzard.  

Can you imagine?  …  No school, tomorrow.
